What the company does

Ju Teng International Holdings supplies moulds, plastic injection moulding and casings for portable electronic devices. The company was founded in 2000, is based in Hong Kong, China, and is listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange under stock code 3336.

Its published business is the casings and structural parts of notebook computers and handheld devices, together with the tooling and moulding capability that produces them. The company's own materials do not describe a charging-specific product line, and this entry does not claim one.

Where it sits in the chain

Mechanical and thermal is the fifth layer of the industry map. This layer determines drop performance, grip, heat spreading and ingress protection.

Two entries in this directory sit in this layer, and the reason is that the layer's real output is a capability rather than a product: the ability to take a design and produce a moulded enclosure to tolerance, at volume, with the thermal and mechanical behaviour the design assumed. A charger, a power bank and a laptop all draw on that same capability. A buyer sourcing an enclosure is buying tooling, moulding and material selection, and the supplier's catalogue may not use the word "charger" at all.

What to check when sourcing at this layer

Ask for the mould, not just the part. Ownership of tooling is a commercial question with long consequences. If the mould belongs to the supplier, moving production later means paying for it again. This is worth settling in writing before the first sample, not after.

Wall thickness and material grade set the thermal ceiling. In a sealed product, heat leaves through the plastic. A thinner wall and a higher-conductivity grade pass more heat out; a design optimised purely for cost or for feel can silently reduce the continuous power the product can sustain. This is a mechanical decision with an electrical consequence.

Tolerance stacks up across the assembly. A coil or an antenna sits inside the enclosure, and the gap between them is the sum of several tolerances. Where wireless performance is marginal, the enclosure's dimensional control is part of the reason.

Cosmetic standards need to be defined numerically. Scratch, sink mark and colour tolerance are judged differently by different inspectors unless the acceptance criteria are written down as measured values. Undefined cosmetic standards are a reliable source of disputes at mass production.

Note on this entry

This entry was compiled by the alliance from the public sources listed below. It was not supplied, reviewed or approved by the company. Ju Teng International is not a member of the alliance, and listing is not an endorsement, a recommendation or an approval of any product.

The alliance has not audited this company and does not know whether any of its parts appear in any charging product. This entry is included because the capability layer it belongs to is part of how charging products are made, not because of any established link to the sector.
